Acknowledging the ever-growing recognition of the importance of fire in the Australian landscape, and the role Aboriginal people have played for milennia managing the landscape with fire, we are keen to support Aboriginal people in their journey reconnecting, learning, and practicing burning. Some of the ways we are doing this are:

• Supporting Aboriginal people to attend conferences with workshops or symposia on cultural burning

• Supporting Aboriginal people to attend burning training sessions at sites around Australia

• Leveraging our networks to connect Aboriginal people with opportunities to gain experience in this space
